Thank you for using Foresee! We built it to help your AI shop for home and auto insurance, optimising for transparency and ease of use.

When we say "Company", "we", "our", or "us" in this document, we are referring to Foresee Insurance Services, LLC ("Foresee").

When we say "Services", we mean our website at go-foresee.com, our quote API and MCP connector (the endpoints AI assistants use to reach us), and any other product created and maintained by Foresee.

When we say "You" or "your", we mean the person using the Services — whether directly or through an AI assistant acting on your instructions.

We may update these Terms of Service ("Terms") in the future. Whenever we make a significant change to our policies, we will refresh the date at the top of this page and take any other appropriate steps to notify users. When you use our Services, now or in the future, you are agreeing to the latest Terms. There may be times where we do not exercise or enforce a right or provision of the Terms; however, that does not mean we are waiving that right or provision. These Terms do contain a limitation of our liability.

What Foresee is (and is not)

  1. Our instant quotes are estimates we compute ourselves. They are not offers of insurance, quotes issued by a carrier, or binders of coverage. The premium a carrier ultimately offers you may differ from our estimate.
  2. Carriers are responsible for their own products. We make no guarantee regarding the rates, coverage, eligibility, terms, or service offered by any insurance carrier, and no guarantee that the options we show you are the best available to you.
  3. Licensing. In states where we do not hold a license, the Services are informational only: we provide estimates and comparisons, we do not sell, solicit, or negotiate insurance there.
  4. Estimates depend on your inputs. If the information you provide is inaccurate or incomplete, the estimates will be too — and, for confirmations on a carrier's site, inaccurate information gets submitted to the carrier in your name.

Using Foresee

  1. You do not need an account. There is no Foresee sign-in and no API key.
  2. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services.
  3. You agree to provide information that is current, true, accurate, and complete, and to only request quotes using your own information — or information you are genuinely authorized to use. Do not impersonate anyone.

AI assistants and automated access

Unlike most websites, we expect software to talk to us — the Services include a public MCP endpoint built for exactly that.

  1. You may access the Services through an AI assistant acting on your instructions. Anything your assistant submits or authorizes on your behalf counts as you submitting or authorizing it.
  2. Your conversation with an AI assistant is governed by that assistant's own terms and privacy policy, not ours.
  3. Automated access must be on behalf of an actual person shopping for insurance. You may not use the Services to bulk-harvest rate estimates, systematically sweep or reconstruct rating surfaces, or resell, republish, or redistribute quote data as a dataset or competing service.
  4. We may rate-limit, suspend, or block access that is abusive, excessive, or that we reasonably believe violates these Terms.

Confirming on a carrier's site

Estimates never leave our systems. Confirmations are different: at your request, Foresee's automated agents gather quotes from carrier websites using the details you provided.

  1. Your explicit authorization is required, every time. Before a confirmation walk, you (or your AI assistant, after telling you plainly what will happen) must give an explicit go-ahead.
  2. What you are authorizing. Foresee will submit the details you provided to the named carriers; each carrier may obtain reports about you — such as a credit-based insurance score and driving record — through a soft inquiry (which does not affect your credit score); and carriers may contact you by email or phone about your quote.
  3. We fill forms; we don't buy anything. Our agents request quotes. They do not bind coverage, purchase policies, make payments, or accept offers on your behalf.
  4. Carrier answers are carrier answers. A carrier may quote a different premium than our estimate, or decline to quote you at all. A confirmation is what that site printed, not a binder of coverage.
  5. Confirmations are subject to availability by carrier and state.

Fees and compensation

Using Foresee is free. We don't charge you to get estimates or confirmations. If we are ever compensated by an insurance carrier — for example, a commission if you buy a policy through our agency — that compensation is paid by the carrier and does not change the premium you pay.

Uptime, Security, and Privacy

  1. Your use of the Services is at your sole risk. We provide the Services on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
  2. When you use our Services, you agree that Foresee may process your data as described in our Privacy Policy and for no other purpose. We as humans can access your data for the following reasons:
    • To help you with support requests you make.
    • When an error occurs that stops an automated process partway through. When we can fix the issue without looking at personal data, we do.
    • To safeguard Foresee. We'll look at logs and metadata as part of our work to ensure the security of your data and the Services as a whole, including investigating suspected abuse.
    • To the extent required by applicable law. As a US company with all data infrastructure located in the US, we only preserve or share user data if compelled by a US government authority with a legally binding order, or in limited circumstances in the event of an emergency request.
  3. We use third-party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run the Services. Our Privacy Policy lists the service providers who handle personal data and what each one does.

Copyright and Content Ownership

  1. Your information remains yours. You give us a limited license to use the information you submit in order to provide the Services to you — computing estimates, and, when you authorize it, confirming numbers on carrier sites — but we claim no ownership rights over it.
  2. Foresee or its licensors own all right, title, and interest in and to the Services, including all intellectual property rights therein, and you obtain no ownership rights in the Services as a result of your use. You may not duplicate, copy, or reuse any portion of the visual design, text, or code without express written permission from the Company.
  3. If you submit feedback or suggestions about the Services, we may use them without restriction or obligation to you.

Liability

You expressly understand and agree that the Company shall not be liable, in law or in equity, to you or to any third party for any direct, indirect, incidental, lost profits, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, including, but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses (even if the Company has been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from: (i) the use or the inability to use the Services; (ii) any insurance product or service you purchase or obtain from, or any interaction you have with, any insurance carrier or other third party, whether or not introduced to you through the Services; (iii) any difference between an estimate shown by the Services and the premium or terms actually offered by a carrier; (iv) unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data; (v) statements or conduct of any third party on the Services; (vi) or any other matter relating to these Terms or the Services, whether as a breach of contract, tort (including negligence whether active or passive), or any other theory of liability. In no event shall the Company's aggregate liability exceed the greater of one hundred US dollars ($100) or the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

We have the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services and refuse any and all current or future use for any reason at any time, including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time.

Governing Law and Miscellany

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict of law principles, and any dispute arising out of them or your use of the Services shall be brought exclusively in courts sitting in Connecticut. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in full effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between us regarding the Services.
