Data privacy is a big deal to us. We promise we never sell your data, including your phone number and email.

This policy applies to the services built and maintained by Foresee Insurance Services, LLC. ("Foresee", "we", "us"): the website at go-foresee.com, our quote API and MCP connector, and any other Foresee product (together, the "Services").

What we collect and why

Quote details

To compute an insurance estimate we need the facts insurance rating actually depends on: your state and ZIP code; your age or date of birth, gender, and marital status; education, employment status, and occupation; military affiliation and organization memberships, where they qualify you for a carrier's rates; your spouse's or partner's details if they're on the policy; how long you've lived at your residence and whether you own or rent; your vehicles (year, make, model, VIN, body style, ownership, purchase details, usage, mileage, anti-theft equipment); your driving history (years licensed, accidents, violations, DUI, defensive-driving courses); your current insurance (carrier, limits, tenure); a credit range; and your coverage selections. Gender and credit are used only where state law permits their use in rating. We use these details to calculate estimates.

You can get instant estimates without telling us who you are: no name, no email, no phone number, and we never ask for your Social Security number.

Identity details — only when you ask to confirm on a carrier's site

If you ask us to confirm a number on a carrier's own website, we additionally need the details a carrier's quote form requires: your legal name, date of birth, street address, and email address (and phone number if you choose to share it). We collect these only for that purpose, we ask for your explicit authorization before every confirmation walk, and we store your authorization verbatim as the durable record of your consent. Identity details are stored separately from quote details in our systems.

Quote records

We keep a record of quote requests and the estimates we served — including the quote details submitted — so we can operate the service, investigate errors, and improve the accuracy of our rating engines. Identity details in these records are stored separately from the rating details. We retain quote records for 24 months, after which they are deleted or de-identified.

Website interactions

If you use the website, we collect limited, privacy-preserving analytics: which pages were visited and coarse events. Our analytics do not use cookies, do not record your keystrokes or session video, and are not tied to your quote details. Like most services, our infrastructure also keeps standard server logs (IP address, request time) for security and debugging.

Voluntary correspondence

When you email us with a question or to ask for help, we keep that correspondence, including your email address, so that we have a history to reference if you reach out again.

The AI assistant channel

You will often reach Foresee through an AI assistant — ChatGPT, Claude, or another client connected to our MCP endpoint. Two things to understand about that:

  • Your conversation belongs to that provider. What you type to ChatGPT or Claude is collected and handled by OpenAI or Anthropic under their privacy policies. We receive only what the assistant sends to our endpoints.
  • What we receive, this policy governs. Once your details reach our endpoints, everything in this policy applies to them, regardless of which assistant sent them.

When we access or disclose your information

To insurance carriers, at your direction. This is the disclosure that matters most, so plainly: when you authorize a confirmation walk, we submit your quote and identity details to the specific carriers you approved, by completing their quote forms as you would yourself. From that moment each carrier handles your information under its own privacy policy, as an independent business. As part of quoting, a carrier may obtain reports about you — such as a credit-based insurance score, driving record, or claims history — via a soft inquiry (which does not affect your credit score), and may contact you by email or phone. We never send your identity details to any carrier without your recorded authorization. Estimates involve no disclosure to carriers at all — they are computed entirely within our systems.

To the service providers that run Foresee. We use third-party vendors for hosting and infrastructure, all processing data on our instructions:

  • Google Cloud — hosting, databases, and file storage (United States).
  • Anthropic — the AI models that operate our confirmation agents. Quote-form contents are processed to complete carrier forms; Anthropic does not train on this data.
  • Browser infrastructure providers (e.g. Kernel, Browserbase) — the managed browser sessions our confirmation agents drive.
  • PostHog — website analytics, configured cookieless as described above.

Aggregated and de-identified data. We may aggregate and/or de-identify information collected through the Services and use it for any purpose, including research and published analysis.

When required under applicable law. Foresee is a U.S. company and all data infrastructure is located in the U.S. Our policy is to not respond to government requests for user data unless we are compelled by legal process, or in limited circumstances in the event of an emergency request. It is our policy to notify affected users before we disclose data unless we are legally prohibited from doing so.

Finally, if Foresee is acquired by or merges with another company, we'll notify you well before any of your personal information is transferred or becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Your rights with respect to your information

We strive to apply the same data rights to everyone, regardless of location. These include:

  • Right to Know. You have the right to know what personal information is collected, used, shared or sold.
  • Right of Access. You may request access to the personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to Correction. You may request correction of your personal information.
  • Right to Erasure. You may request that your personal information be deleted from our possession and, by extension, from our service providers.
  • Right to Restrict Processing / Right to Object. You may request restriction of, or object to, how your personal information is used.
  • Right to Portability. You may request a copy of the personal information we have about you in a usable format.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination. We do not and will not degrade your service because you exercised your privacy rights.
  • Right to Complain. You may lodge a complaint with your supervisory or state authority regarding our handling of your personal information.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@go-foresee.com. We may need to take reasonable steps to verify your identity before responding; if an authorized agent is corresponding on your behalf, we will need your written consent before proceeding.

How we secure your data

All data is encrypted via SSL/TLS when transmitted between our servers and your browser or assistant. Data is encrypted at rest in our databases and storage. Identity details are stored separately from quote details, access to production systems is controlled by identity-based access rather than shared credentials.

Data retention

We keep your information for the time necessary for the purposes for which it is processed. Quote records are retained for 24 months. Confirmation-authorization records are retained for as long as we are required to demonstrate your consent. Correspondence is kept as long as it is useful for supporting you. We may retain information as necessary to comply with legal obligations — including insurance-producer record-keeping requirements — resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. To request deletion of personal information we hold, contact privacy@go-foresee.com. We delete or de-identify it within 60 days, except where retention is legally required.

Location of site and data

Our Services are operated in the United States. If you are located outside of the United States, please be aware that any information you provide to us will be transferred to and stored in the United States. By using our Services and/or providing us with your personal information, you consent to this transfer.

Children

The Services are not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Quote details may describe household drivers of any age, but the person using the Services must be an adult.

Changes and questions

We may update this policy as needed to comply with relevant regulations and reflect new practices. Whenever we make a significant change, we will refresh the date at the top of this page and take any other appropriate steps to notify users.
